Relocating to Lexington?

When we moved to Lexington 16 years ago we neglected to choose a good Realtor to help make sense of all the information so that we could maintain our sainity?  The key word is "good".  My company recommended a company and they "assigned" me an agent.

After driving our 5th loop around the city on New circle with our Realtor we took off on our own. Braving the circular city with our new map and armed with a slew of school information printouts we took off on our own. I won't bore you with the details of the stress, fatigue, arguments, and general malaise. I would just strongly recommend that you interview your agent first.  Get references from their last 3 customers (so they don't handpick them). Search their websites, and talk on the phone. An agent can be a lifesaver or a bad story that you can tell for 16 years.

New residents often need information about schools, businesses, banks, things to do and other Community Information. All of this and more can be found in our Lex Web Links on the front page.
